Some biomass solutions require housing in a new plant room or substantial alterations to an existing building. Artizan are able to offer a wide variety of plant rooms, either standard plug and play containerised, bespoke buildings or alterations to existing buildings. In our experience the existing fossil fuel boilers are left in- situ to act as back up, so the biomass boiler will need to be rehoused with the fuel store either next to in a silo or accommodated in the new plant room. While containerised solutions seem to be the way forward Artizan fabricate very few owing to the difficulty of access and transportation.
Artizan fabricate pre-made units which are assembled on site either in the form of a container (not a permanent structure; in most cases avoiding planning consent) or a bespoke detached or attached to the existing building. (In most cases building consent will be required) The Heat Cabins that Artizan Heating produce are individually designed and built to a very high specification in our own work shop, the structure is a timber frame design sited on a concrete base, with a pitched or flat roof and they include as standard lighting, fire proof liner, sprinkler system, optional fire and security alarm, and as standard finished in timber cladding, although other finishes are available such as brick, render, PVC or metal cladding.
Large House with an indoor swimming pool area, the client wanted the building to be in keeping with the style of the existing house.
We have provided many different finishes to our heat cabins including render, wood cladding and many more.
We provide full timber framed constructions for the pellet store and boiler plant room installation.
Installing the boiler in its own self contained building means that the existing in situ boiler can be kept as back up, or supplementary heat source.
